That’s how I would define my personal experience with traveling. I believe that even if someone is going to a new place just for the sake of doing it, this person will gain some kind of knowledge. And this knowledge is different from the one you can get in books, movies or stories told by other people: there’s nothing like seeing with your own eyes and touching with your hands the things you’ve heard about for a lifetime.

Stefânia Forner was born in Chapecó (Brazil) and moved to Florianópolis to study Pharmacy. She holds a B.Sc. in Pharmacy, a M.Sc. in Pharmacology and is currently pursuing her Ph.D in Pharmacology at Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina.
